Notes:
Recorded at the Village Vanguard during the matinee and the evening performance on Sunday, November 3, 1957. In jewel case with white tray and obi. Twelve page booklet includes brief Producer's Notes in English and Liner Notes in Japanese. NB: The first ten titles in this series have "1500 Unissue" [sic as the series name. This was corrected for the next and final ten. HSE2088 (20 bit 88.2kHz Mastering). Producer's Notes For me, this was one of the most exciting finds in the Blue Note vaults, two more albums by Rollins at his creative best backed only by bassist Wilbur Ware and drummer Elvin Jones. (Bassist Don Bailey and drummer Pete LaRoca played the matinee that day.) - by Michael Cuscuna
