Notes:

Virtually all selections on this compact disc reissue have been newly transferred to digital tape from original metal parts and test pressings preserved in the RCA/BMG vaults. For those few for which parts in acceptable condition were not available, 78 rpm shellac records were graciously provided by the Institute of Jazz Studies at Rutgers University, through its director, Dan Morgenstern. "Stay" was never issued in 78 rpm form and no metal parts have survived; which meant that our only available source was the master tape of a much later RCA album, apparently dubbed from a metal part or test of poor quality.
